Last week I created a new 21day habit challenge to practice my touch typing for just a few minutes each weekday. I’m already a pretty fast but I spent some time looking at (what I think) are the top ways to improve your Touch Typing.
This is my top pick as their Artificial Intelligence Engine as they call it tracks your typing patterns and (so they say) have multiple algorithms to increase the speed of your training. Nice UX, free, hard to complain.
KeyKey is a newly released minimalist app for the Mac released over the past week. It’s great for beginners or advanced users with the ability to teach alternative keyboard layouts like COLEMAK or DVORAK.
KeyBR doesn’t have the best interface, nor the most rewarding type of touch practice, but they do have a pretty fun Multiplayer race where you can compete against random people from around the world. Got my heart pumping the first time I did it.
This website contacted me this week to ask me to answer questions about my most recommended books and reading habits. Their money-making strategy is brilliant as they post the answers of CEO’s with affiliate links to the books. Nonetheless, they compiled a page that lists out the most recommended books and I very much so agree with the list of books. If you haven’t read any of the books in the top 10, I’d highly recommend adding them to your reading list.
These guys first launched a Kickstarter project with the Gravity Blanket which has some interesting science behind it. Their new product is indeed probably what you’d get by combining Elon Musk’s skills towards designing a bean bag, and I’m a sucker for Elon Musk references so I became a backer.
There’s a lot of sites out there that sell low-quality, mislabeled and not-what-you-think supplements and you shouldn’t trust Amazon reviews for good reason. Labdoor is amongst the least-biased sources on the web to get accurate quality checks about supplements you can buy on Amazon. I’d highly recommend you keep this site bookmarked next time you go online to buy supplements, protein powder and more.
